Peer Review

    The criticism we faced during the peer review was beneficial to our project. The main focus of the feedback was centered on the audio. Considering that we had massive exporting issues, me and my partner only double checked the project about two or three times. However, in the exporting mess, some things in the movie got changed. The audio was the result of the exporting issues. At first, me and my partner made the decision to not have music in the majority of our movie hoping to create dramatic effect. Yet, when we presented it to the class the movie felt like it was missing. Our classmates suggested to keep the music out of the project for the first half until the mood of the pregnancy kicks in. One classmate suggested that the alarm that stays playing during the movie to be the ONLY sound. My partner and I loved this idea because it is the piercing sound that can create an unsettling feeling to the audience. 

    Another recommendation was about the last scene. The last shot in our movie was one shot from the bathroom to the car to convey a chaotic tone. Nevertheless, one classmate suggested to take out the part where the main character goes to the car because it wastes time that can be put somewhere else. My partner and I will probably take this part out and replace it with some scene of dialogue because that is another element we are missing.
